of course, it wouldnt be an adventure if I didnt hurt myself... After I FINALLY started getting comfortable, I biffed it really bad, and tried to catch myself with my hands.... and my right wrist got the worst of it...

Schlitten fahren

Today was a beautiful day!! We decided to go Schlitten fahren (sledding). It was fun and scary!! We shared a sled, and we FLEW down the mountain. We got sprayed with TONS of snow in our faces from trying to stear and slow down! At many points I couldnt see anything! It was scary fun! I tried to take some pix going down, but it wasnt possible... so here are some before and after pix.

My first Christmas in Germany

Here in Germany, they celebrate Christmas on the 24th. The Christ child brings the presents after you eat dinner, and sing some christmas carols. Usually, the majority of the family will distract the kids while someone puts out all the presents. It was quite fun to watch Leo! He was SO hyper from the moment we got there around 3pm till about 11pm. It was a neat experience. All though, it hit me really hard how much I miss my family! I was doing just fine till Christmas came and went without the crazyness of my family. Anywho...here are some pix of my First Christams in Germany.

we were just told that the "Christ Child" came. He was SO excited, he was already up the stairs before we were in the front door.

I made a new best friend. At first he wasnt quite sure what to think. But by the end of the night, he wouldnt leave my side. I got LOTS of hugs, a few kisses (on the cheek), lots of cuddles..... Robin was getting a little jealous.... ;-)

Dance

I am starting Jazz dance class in January. Here is a pic of most of the people in the class. We had a little Christmas party, and we all dressed up in red and white. It is SO much fun!

Ulm Christmas Market

I went to the Ulm Christmas Market with my friends since Robin was stuck in Dusseldorf because of the snow. He picked me up after he got a rental car in Stuttgard. Here are some pix of the Market.

bredl- its pretty cool, this store made their windows an advent calander. everynight at 5, there would be an angel opening the window. Neat idea!

Saturday we went and got the tree that Robin had bought (when they had a Wal*Mart here)from the garage. Then we went to a few stores to get some decorations for the tree. It was a little difficult... its not like shopping for ornaments in the states. They only have a little to choose from in the store. But all in all I got some and our little tree looks really cute! I just need to go and get a few more ornament hooks to add the rest of them. Well here is a pic of the tree so far...

SNOW

Friday we got our first snow. It was just a little, but we hadn't put on the snow tires yet. Robin wasn't expecting it to snow, and had to drive home in the snow... So first thing Sat. morning, we took the car to get the snow tires on. Then over the weekend, the snow had pretty much melted away. When we woke up this morning (monday), there was quite a bit of snow, and it was still comming down. It snowed off and on all day today. It is very pretty, but not fun to walk in! Here are a few pix that I took from Friday and today.

Happy Thanksgiving!

We celebrated Thanksgiving on Sunday. Since Robin was gone on Thursday, I talked him into doing a little dinner for the two of us. And it turned out SO good!!! We got a turkey breast and cooked that instead of a whole turkey for just the two of us... and it was so juicy and yummy!!!

We hoped that everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving Holiday!!

Friedrichshafen

Usually we have girls weekend on Thursday, but this week we had a combined night. So we had a girls evening on Saturday. We went to Friedrichshafen. We walked around the city and had fun in a few stores. It got really cold so we came back and went to an Irish Pub for dinner. Then we hung out and talked.

Saturday Market

This weekend turned out to be BEAUTIFUL, sunny and warm!!! Saturday we were finally able to make it to our Saturday Market. It was really neat. Robin said that its not like it used to be. More of selling junk then the old school, original stuff. Then on Sunday, it was also a beautiful day, so we went up and took a few pictures for our Christmas card. Here are just a few pix.
