We went on a date night to a gun range. It was lots of fun! Scary, but fun! They started working on our house! They are preparing to start digging and get the foundation poured! MERRY CHRISTMAS! Our first Christmas in Texas!

November

We had some visitors from Germany come say hi. It was really nice to have some friends around!! Sad that it was only for a few days! Around Thanksgiving, we went to this Drive Through Safari with some Perry's. It was a LOT of fun! I got to pet a Zebra and many otothers! I would recommend this to anyone who comes down here!

October

The biggest news for this month is that Robin GOT A JOB! He is SO excited to be working!! And it is at Citi Bank, his favorite company he worked for in Germany. We did a 5k in Buda for the Buda Firefest. It was fun! We were invited to a Halloween Party, so we went as a "German Couple" in our Oktoberfest outfits. Second biggest news, we have found where we are going to live. We put a deposit on our lot, and had our first design center appointment. I think we were the most organized clients she had....haha SO EXCITED!! Here is our LOT!

Austin

We are in Austin. The weekend we arrived, a huge fire started in a near by city. It lasted a while, and destroyed a lot! So far we are liking it here! We just missed the crazy heat, but its still hot. And we LOVE it! We are staying with Robins host family until we can get jobs, and find a place of our own. It is beautiful here! There has been a really bad drought, and lots of things are dying. But its still pretty. There are so many things always going on downtown or nearby. So much great food!! The month of September we have experienced Home Slice Pizza, Salt Lick BBQ, Thunderhill Raceway, Downtown Austin: The Capitol Building, The "Bat" bridge, 6th Street, a possum that made its nest next to the bbq, bought a car, Robin got his green card and I got a nanny job. That's most of September

2 weeks in Spokane with the family

We arrived in Spokane on the 21st.That was a looooong stressful flight! Its so nice to be back and see my family! Our first stop was at Taco Bell!!! haha We both missed it! We also went out bowling with the family and a few of my brothers friends for his birthday. We were so excited to go camping! We had amazing weather, and a great time. We also had a blast at Silverwood with my brothers and sister in law. I got to see a few of my friends as well. Then we were off to start our lives in Austin, TX.

The Move from Germany to Austin

Lilly left us last week and is at my parents place. I miss her! We finally got everything cleared out of the apartment. After shipping 5 boxes, selling and giving away things. We checked 2 lg suitcases each, and had 2 (heavy) carry on bags (I had 3, my camera bag). It has been an amazing year, and experience for me to be here in Germany and making wonderful friends that I will have for the rest of my life!! .

We were lucky to have free puppy school for Lilly! She did SO good!!! I'm sure she is going to miss her friend Jackie and her Auntie Sunny! Here are some pictures of her last few days in Germany.
